Team Superbike consists of Jon Pearson and Dave 'the goat' Smith. Dave has bags of experience in the BSB paddock both as a rider and technician. Jon is a tester and journalist at SuperBike magazine so you can keep up to date with his progress in the magazine each month or check out his blog at www.superbike.co.uk
Racing history
Jon has hopped-on and hopped-off various one-off rides in different championships as part of his job, but until last year and the Bracken 660 cup, he has never competed in a full race season. That's not to mention a few decent years of national trials competition including the British championship, Scottish Six Days trial and Scott trial events.
Other than that he’s tried most bike sports including a half-decent spell hillclimbing, which took him to France and America to compete Internationally, even coming away with some prize money! |
